Vacation in Florida

We went to Florida to see the Space Shuttle Columbia launch on February 22, 1996. Click to learn more about the perfect on-time launch.

While we were there, we spent a week in the Orlando area. We visited the Disney theme parks and Universal Studios and saw knights battle it out at the Medieval Times Castle.

Cathy took some classes at the Disney Institute. She learned how to cook some great dishes, and created a topiary elephant. Click here to meet Figaro.

We also learned about dolphins and the dolphin language research being done at the Living Seas in Disney's Epcot center.

We spent the next week down in the Florida Keys at Little Palm Island. We got to learn about training dolphins and actually swam with three dolphins at the Theater of the Sea.
